GETTING HERE

SW FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The Southwest Florida International Airport in Ft. Myers is 28 miles from Sanibel & Captiva. Most major airlines (as well as International flights) fly in and out of Ft. Myers (airport code RSW), and can be found on their website. Phone: 239-768-1000

Guests will need to check in at the Cottages to Castles office to pick up keys and receive driving directions to the Estate. Please refer to your confirmation

PRIVATE PLANES
Many of our guests find it more convenient to travel by private plane, especially if they are traveling with a large group. Avoid long lines, early check-ins and flight delays by chartering a private flight.

DRIVING

Directions to Sanibel

As of April 2002, New Exit Numbers have been assigned to I-75. They are mile-based.

We have provided these particular directions so you may avoid the high-traffic zone past the baseball stadium, Home Depot/Wal-Mart/Lowes intersection at Six-Mile Cypress/Gladiolus & US 41. Posted signs will direct you through what can be, in winter season, a challenging route to the islands. Feel free to use our directions to avoid the lines!

From Southwest Florida International Airport: Exiting the airport you will be traveling on Terminal Access Road.  At the traffic light, turn Right onto Treeline Ave Ext. Continue 2.4 miles to Daniels Parkway and turn Left at the Traffic signal for “867 West” and “Naples”. You are now heading west on Daniels Parkway.

Continue on Daniels Parkway to U.S. 41. At U.S. 41 Daniels Parkway becomes Cypress Lake Drive. Cross U.S. 41 and continue on Cypress Lake Drive. Continue to Summerlin Road and turn left at the traffic light. Stay on Summerlin until it dead-ends at the Sanibel Toll Booth. Stay in the 2 right lanes and pay a $6.00 toll. Cross the 3 bridges to Sanibel Island. At the 4-way stop bear right onto Periwinkle Way. Continue on Periwinkle 2.9 miles and turn left at 2427 Periwinkle Way (across from She Sells Sea Shells main store).

From Miami Airport:  Take 836 West to 826 North to I-75 (Alligator Alley) North to Exit 131. Take Exit 131 and turn left at the traffic light onto Daniels Parkway. See “From I-75” above.

From Tampa: Take I-75 south to Exit 131. Take Exit 131 and bear right.. See “From I-75”  above.

From Orlando: Take I-4 west to Tampa. Take I-75 south to Exit 131 and bear right. See “From I-75” above.

Late Arrival Procedures
If you are arriving after our office is closed and your reservation is paid in full, you may pick up your keys from the lockbox at our office. Please refer to your reservation confirmation for the LOCKBOX CODE.
Keys will not be placed in the lockbox unless your reservation is paid in full or alternate arrangements have been made with our office.
