When renting a luxurious estate home, some guests prefer no staff, while others may require various types of staff and services to meet their needs. For those who prefer a staffed estate, our Property Manager will arrange for the following staffing and services:

Our Concierge services are complimentary. Coordinating any service or reservation to make your stay enjoyable and stress-free is our number one priority.
Guests are responsible for any services fees.

PERSONAL CHEF

The Sandhurst Personal Chef "Matt-Z-Chef" is internationally renowned and has been featured in Bon Appetit and Gulfshore Life Magazines. We are fortunate to have Matt not only provision the kitchen and prepare incredible meals; but, also take guests out on his state-of-the-art Kevlar fishing boat so they may have fun and catch the evening's dinner. The guests love to have Matt take them island-hopping to a deserted beach for a shipwreck "picnic". 

Matt recently provided his services for the 2004 MTV Summer Beach House Rental with Usher (the famous singer!) at Sandhurst. Usher was so impressed, that  Matt was asked to provide his services again at the Miami MTV Video Music Awards.

Matt claims that children are his toughest critics ('they don't know what they're supposed to like!); however, he is happy to create a very special dining experience for individuals with special dietary needs and considerations.

If you prefer to cook your own meals, the newly renovated state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen will delight the most discriminating cook. The 15-foot granite center island and commercial gas stove are the best.

Our island Property Managers are Judy and Sharon Michie of Cottages to Castles. Cottages to Castles is a small boutique rental agency, specializing in Unique Luxury Vacation Properties and provides the concierge services for our home. Judy and Sharon are both licensed Realtors.

Judy and Sharon are a mother-daughter team, and have been working with us for over 15 years, managing our Captiva homes. Sharon is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, while Judy has over 25 years experience managing exclusive vacation homes on the island. Judy is the only Rental Associate to have ever been awarded the coveted Realtor of the Year award by the Sanibel-Captiva Board of Realtors.
